Supply Chain Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Leader to take ownership of the entire supply chain function, driving growth and improvements in procurement, production planning, and logistics for a multi-step assembly operation. The role involves close collaboration with the Executive team and key peers in Engineering, Operations, and Sales.

As they prepare for their next stage of growth, they are looking for a Supply Chain Director who can assess the current state of the supply chain and lead improvements to support a growing global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of a global sourcing, production planning, and logistics strategy.
• Oversee the launch of new manufacturing or distribution operations in new regions and countries.
• Assess the current supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement new strategies to drive operational efficiency and prepare for growth.
• Collaborate across multiple departments and with global stakeholders to ensure a seamless supply chain operation.
• Promote Lean principles and operational excellence across multiple manufacturing plants.
• Manage a centralized team of Buyers, Planners, and Logistics professionals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business.
• 8+ years of experience in machinery or equipment assembly operations.
• Proven expertise in international shipping and developing a global sourcing strategy, including entering new regions or countries.
• Strong leadership experience managing a team of Buyer/Planners.
• Hands-on, problem-solving attitude with the ability to both strategize and execute.
