We are recruiting a Sr Program Manager, a rewarding career opportunity to join Qorvo’s High Performance Analog (HPA) Business with annual revenue of approximately $700 million. This position is a key member of the Program Management Team supporting Prime Accounts in the Defense & Aerospace market segments. This position is based in Richardson, TX.

Requirements
- Utilize technical, business, marketing, and collaborative skills while interfacing with both internal and external customers on exciting new programs, process and technology developments, and the delivery of proto and production products.
- Lead, manage, and support business proposals, SOW, Contract Negotiation, and Pricing for R&D to Production requests.
- Ensure timely Customer support addressing inquiries on: Business Development, New Proposals, R&D Programs, Prototype and Production Programs.
- Facilitates the definition of the program schedule, identifying key milestones, risks, and critical path.
- Communicates the project status to the business unit, the program team, the strategic marketing organization, and the customer.
- Defines, communicates, and closes the gap between customer expectations and actual schedule.
- Lead and participate in all Program specific reviews.
- Works with the project team to enable the success of the project and sub-projects within the product timeline.
- Develop, Analyze, and Maintain pricing consistent with commercial business practices, while supporting Monthly/Quarterly/Annual business reviews as the Program Manager for Qorvo.
- Program or project management experience; US Government program experience a plus
- Broad knowledge of the Microelectronics business in areas such as: technology, MMICs, devices, packaging, design needs, etc.
- Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills and excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly respond to customer questions/inquiries.
- Technical, Engineering Degree at the bachelor’s level is required; Masters and/or MBA desired
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Project, Program, or Technical Development Management required; Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
- Strong work ethic with drive to take ownership of program and project requirements and deliverables.
- Proven ability to influence and drive internal suppliers and customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Ability to coordinate discussions and action plans with internal engineering, operations, and business unit teams required (e.g., design, product engineering, applications engineering, etc.)
- Lead cross function team of project management and engineering, while working with finance, legal, sales, and operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Sound decision-making skills in addressing issues and obstacles to project completion.
