Job Description: Mechanical Engineer

• The Client Prototyping Team is responsible for unblocking the intricacies of Autonomous Mobility. 
• Our team is a technical hub to resolve challenging engineering and design problems in a highly cross-functional environment. 
• Within the Prototyping Engineering team, you will be called to develop and design new ideas in a fast prototyping scenario.

Responsibilities:

• You will design, in CATIA V6, prototype hardware, and electromechanical systems
• You will generate 2D drawing packages for fabrication and assembly
• You will evaluate the dynamic, static, structural, and thermal-mechanical performances of mechanical assemblies
• You will optimize the design and build of our Prototype Development Fleet
• You will collaborate with experts in AI, Mechatronics, Computer Vision, and Robotics from all teams throughout the Client

Qualifications:

• A strong basis of Mechanical Engineering and Physics
• Experience with 2D drawing packages, including GD&T
• Design with CAD tools, such as CATIA V6
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 6 years of relevant experience
