Position: Area Operations Manager
Location: Remote with extensive travel (50%+)
Position Overview:
The Area Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing operations across multiple regions. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, proven experience in P&L oversight, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage operational projects across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and drive growth.
- Oversee budgeting and financial performance, ensuring P&L management aligns with company targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of operational strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in all regions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to regional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site visits, operational audits, and performance assessments to ensure consistent execution of company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field (master's in business administration or related discipline is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of success in multi-site operations.
- Experience with P&L management and financial accountability is required.
- Pharmacy operations experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams in various locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Willingness to travel extensively (more than 50% travel required).
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy sector is a significant plus.
