The labour disruption at the Port of Vancouver continues for the fourth day with no signs of action. The longer our potash isn’t moving west, the longer it's going to take to unwind and restart our supply chain. We call on all parties to find a resolution quickly to prevent the same devastating events we saw during 2023’s port labour disruption. ????Congratulations to the Morris Interactive Digital Transformation in Potash Mining graduates! The 10-week program consisted of in-classroom learning and an on-site practicum at Mosaic’s Esterhazy Complex. This course gave students the foundational knowledge of potash mining and automation, provided hands-on training, and connected the students to potential careers. ?? ??

The disruption at the Port of Vancouver continues to impact Saskatchewan’s ability to get potash to our international customers. Immediate action is needed to avoid another multi-day stoppage. Every day this continues adds even more recovery time. We ask the federal government to encourage a swift resolution between parties so potash can start heading west again.
